We are an independent 501(c)(3) educational organization, the local affiliate of Citizens For Global Solutions, a national organization working toward global solutions to global problems. Our organization has been educating western Pennsylvanian citizens about global interdependence for over sixty years.
Vision
Global Solutions Pittsburgh envisions a future in which nations work together to abolish war, protect our rights and freedoms, and solve problems facing humanity that no nation can solve alone.
Mission
Global Solutions Pittsburgh provides nonpartisan, internationally-focused education to schools and communities throughout western Pennsylvania.
Guiding Principles
We strive to realize our goals by:
- Cultivating global awareness and engagement in our region through innovative educational programming and strategic partnerships;
- Supporting global education in schools through direct student engagement, curricular support, and teacher professional development;
- Promoting respect for human rights by educating citizens and facilitating collaboration within the regional human rights community.
