PACMUN

The inaugural Pittsburgh Area Collegiate Model United Nations (PACMUN) will be held March 8-12, 2012 at the Marriott City Center in Downtown Pittsburgh. Located at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, where the Ohio River forms, the City of Bridges is a truly international city home to a diverse population of old and new immigrants. Thousands of students from around the world attend the many universities in Pittsburgh and many more come for the employment opportunities in the cutting-edge health care, technology, education and financial services. Not to mention, Pittsburgh was listed as America’s Most Livable City in 2010.
Preparing for and participating in the first PACMUN will give collegiate students the opportunity to engage with each other and become educated and exposed to the world they live in. Learning about international issues and perspectives different from their own while having a fun and rewarding experience in the city of Pittsburgh is the goal of PACMUN. We aim for the collegiate student participants of PACMUN to have as much fun as they have a fulfilling experience learning new skills and information.
We hope you will consider joining us in the exciting city of Pittsburgh at PACMUN next year!
