The Pittsburgh Human Rights Network will be holding a benefit dinner at Mad Mex Shadyside (220 S. Highland Ave.) on Tuesday, August 14th at 7pm. This benefit dinner will be $35 and all proceeds support and benefit the PHRN Micro-Grants program. These grants support local student organizations in their efforts to advocate and raise awareness about critical international human rights issues.
The Pittsburgh Human Rights Network is a community education project that seeks to build support for human rights by raising awareness of global human rights issues, encouraging involvement, and facilitating collaboration within Pittsburgh. The PHRN continues to be a resource for human rights groups in the region and believes that cooperation and discourse can openly take place, in hopes of making international human rights something that everyone in Pittsburgh works for.
This benefit dinner will be $35 and all proceeds will go directly to the PHRN. Mad Mex Shadyside will provide a buffet-style dinner, which will include:
- – Crispy Chips and Salsa
- – Fresh Guacamole
