In today's volatile market place it is often difficult to determine which choices are best in terms of the overall impacts on society. The fuel/food conundrum is a good example. This discussion will attempt to describe some of the consequences of choices we make and some of the reasons behind those consequences. No firm answers will be provided, but with luck a few horizons may be expanded.
